The summer is getting hot and so has the sprint car racing across the U.S. The team came off a great Memorial Day weekend run in Ohio but fizzled with a visit to Riverside Speedway in West Memphis in June. A broken drive line and some unseen damage from the wreck at the World of Outlaws event in Lawrenceburg resulted in a poor finish. At Riverside the team struggled putting in a new drive line after hot lap issues and the night just got worse as Jim got turned around in the feature and flipped the car on its side. Finally Jim had to pull out of the 40 lap feature with 10 laps to go as the car just was not working. The team took July off to rebuild the car and with work taking a priority we had to watch some great racing going on from the sidelines. The team is now ready and will be out the first weekend in August at the Iron Man 55 World of Outlaw event in Pevely, Missouri. Following the two night Pevely event, the team will run with the All Star Circuit of Champions in Brownstown for another 410 sprint show. Come out and support Muttley and the team and purchase one of our shirts as August heats up.
